After growing up in Switzerland, Tanya came from the alps to the ocean to do an MA in Authorial Illustration at Falmouth University in 2008.
Now based on the Cornish Lizard Peninsula, she loves the raw beauty and power of the landscape and natural elements here, and this inspiration feeds into her work, as much as her experiences as being a woman.
Her drawings are dreamlike, floating between the sky and the ocean, representing female freedom, reality and fantasy.
